What is a mobile notary?
A mobile notary is someone who travels to the client's residence, office, or other location to provide notary or NSA services. While some mobile notaries may have offices, most are 100% mobile, which is convenient for the client.
Do you perform notary services online?
At this time, no - however Senate Bill 696, the Online Notarization Act, will allow California notaries to perform notarial transactions online, through online notarization platforms. SB 696 was signed into law by Gov. Gavin Newsom on September 30, 2023, however the new law won't take effect until January 1, 2030. For more information on this, please visit https://www.sos.ca.gov.
Can I book notary services online?
Yes, you can book notary services online; keep in mind that I cannot perform the actual notary service online.
What parts of San Diego County do you service?
I primarily service the East County area, however travel all over San Diego County.
What is the fee for notary services?
Notaries cannot charge more than $15 per signature for non-loan services, however we can charge for mileage. I do not charge for mileage within a 10-mile radius of my residence - anything beyond is an additional fee $1 per mile. There is also an additional fee for requests received after business hours or on holidays.
Do you provide legal advice?
A notary is not allowed to provide legal advice. If you have a document that you don't understand, please consult with an attorney or another qualified individual who can provide you with a better understanding of the document.
Do you travel to/provide notary services at detention centers/correctional facilities?
Yes, I provide notary services at detention centers/correctional facilities. This type of service is called a Professional Visit.
Do you provide services in other languages?
As of now, English is the only language.
Do you provide other services besides notary?
Yes, I offer many services in addition to notary. Please click the "Book Online" tab to see a list of those services as well as their prices.
Are you open on weekends/holidays?
I am open on weekends, and while I'm open on holidays also, there is an additional fee. In the event that I am not open, I will list the modified hours on this website, as well as update my voice mail greeting, and social media.
